Marc Ciccarone As a former high school teacher in public education, Ciccarone knows a few things about horror. After seven years of running Blood Bound Books as a second job, Ciccarone is taking a sabbatical from teaching in 2017 to commit himself full time to BBB and its authors. He’s been a frequent panelist and host for movie, music, and literary panels at the Phoenix Comicon, contributed to DECIBEL magazine, and organizes Blood Bound Books’ annual blood drive. Joe Spagnola (Marketing & Owner) – Spagnola is an accomplished salesman with a degree in management. He brings a savvy business sense to our little group but most importantly is focused on building long lasting relationships with our talented authors. He has a passion for all things horror which began with his love for Richard Matheson and Edgar Allan Poe. He uses a pen name except for his first, and favorite, piece written in high school that awarded him ten days suspension (still framed to this day).
Elwood Riot (Composer, Author, Coder)-Riot is pleased to be part of Blood Bound Books! He hopes to bring great horror/ sci fi tales and music to to the organization.
G. Winston Hyatt (Editor)-After a few of his stories appeared in their early anthologies, G. Winston Hyatt joined the Blood Bound Books staff in 2012. A collector of vintage black light posters, rare paperbacks, and Halloween masks, he holds a Certificate in Editing from the University of Chicago Graham School and an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago. He has edited or co-edited over ten books and is the author of the novel Birch Hills at World’s End.
